Erin joined the firm in 2018 after summering, articling, and practicing at another Toronto union-side labour firm. She brings experience in employment law, civil litigation, and pensions and benefits.
Erin graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2016 in the top three percent of her class, and earned several awards for academic achievement. While at Osgoode, she was a caseworker in the Workers’ Rights division of Parkdale Community Legal Services, where she represented individual employees on wrongful dismissal, human rights, and other employment-related claims. During law school Erin also acted as a Senior Editor at the Journal of Law and Social Policy, was a student researcher with the Law Commission of Ontario’s Defamation in the Age of the Internet project, and volunteered for the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act Alliance.
Prior to law school Erin worked and volunteered for several social service and community groups in Kitchener-Waterloo with a focus on income security and poverty reduction.
Erin’s practice includes labour, human rights, employment, and bankruptcy and insolvency law. She has represented clients at the Superior Court of Justice, Administrative Tribunals, and Small Claims Court. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers.
