Chris joined the firm in 2019 as an associate after practicing civil and commercial litigation. Chris has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court, the British Columbia Supreme Court, and the British Columbia Court of Appeal. Before entering private practice, Chris clerked for the British Columbia Supreme Court where he assisted three judges in complex civil and criminal proceedings. Chris is developing a practice in labour law, employment law and administrative law.
Chris graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in the top nine percent of his class. During law school Chris earned several awards for academic achievement and was a research assistant for a professor specializing in labour and employment law. Chris also worked for the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives and the United Food and Commercial Workers union on law reform. He has written op-eds for the Toronto Star and the Globe and Mail on topics related to some of that work.
