Natasha practices labour, employment and human rights law on behalf of trade unions, associations and individual workers. 

Natasha represents a variety of trade unions across a range of industries. She regularly assists unions by providing legal advice and representation on collective agreement, human rights and pay equity disputes, as well as in grievances and professional discipline matters. She also provides employment advice to workers regarding wrongful dismissal, workplace discrimination and accommodation in the workplace, and has represented the interests of employees in employer insolvencies, including for former Sears employees in the company’s CCAA proceedings.

Natasha graduated magna cum laude from the Dual J.D. program at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in the top 10% of her class. During law school she was an active volunteer at legal aid clinics in both Windsor and Detroit and completed a judicial internship at the Third Circuit Court in Wayne County, Michigan.

Natasha joined UPFH as an associate in 2020 after articling at another union-side labour firm in Toronto. She is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers and the South Asian Bar Association.
