Saneliso has recently joined the firm as an associate after spending the last two years working in the in-house legal department of one of Canada’s largest private sector trade unions.
Saneliso obtained her J.D. at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2014. Prior to that, she received her B.A. (Honours) from the University of Toronto where she specialized in Women and Gender Studies with a focus on HIV/AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa. At Osgoode, Saneliso completed the Intensive in Poverty Law at Parkdale Community Legal Services in the Workers’ Rights Division. During her two terms with PCLS, Saneliso represented clients on a variety of matters before the Ontario Labour Relations Board, Small Claims Court and Employment Insurance Board of Referees. Throughout law school, Saneliso was also an active member of the Black Law Students Association and Osgoode Feminist Collective and volunteered with the Workers’ Action Centre.
Saneliso is a member of the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers.
