Karen Ensslen to Present on Contentious Issues in the Workplace at the OBA’s Annual Update on Human Rights

Karen Ensslen will be presenting at the Ontario Bar Association’s signature annual conference on human rights issues on May 29, 2017.  Karen will be participating in a panel on contentious issues in the workplace, discussing the extent of the procedural duty to accommodate, how much medical information an employer can require when examining an accommodation request and the duty to accommodate employee restrictions related to commuting to work.  Karen’s paper, “Commuting and Worksite Transfers: Accommodation, Self-Accommodation and Undue Hardship”, will be available from the OBA.
