Dean Ardron is a partner with Ursel Phillips Fellows Hopkinson LLP. Dean practices labour law on behalf of trade unions and associations. He regularly represents employees and unions in both industrial and construction matters before labour arbitrators, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and other administrative tribunals.
Dean also provides strategic counsel and representation with collective bargaining, organizing, and lobbying efforts.
He joined the firm after articling with the firm's predecessor and the Canadian Autoworkers Union. Dean attended Osgoode Hall Law School, graduating in the top 10% of his class.
Dean is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers. He currently serves on the Executive of the Ontario Bar Association Labour and Employment Law Section and is a frequent speaker and chair at labour and employment law conferences.
