Geoff joined the firm as an articling student in 2018 and is now an Associate. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School. At Osgoode, Geoff volunteered with several legal clinics, including the Income Security Advocacy Centre, where he worked on test case litigation seeking to improve workers’ access to long-term disability benefits. He was a member of Osgoode’s award-winning Wilson Moot team in 2017 and worked as a research assistant to a professor specializing in administrative law.
Prior to law school, Geoff received his Master’s Degree in the field of conflict resolution from the University of Victoria. He then worked as a street-outreach worker and a policy researcher in the field of social determinants of health, focusing on income security issues. He has been active with several community-based anti-poverty organizations.
