Kassia Bonisteel is an associate with the firm. Her practice includes labour and employment law and civil litigation for trade unions, associations and individual employees.
Kassia returned to the firm after participating in the joint articling program with the Canadian Auto Workers Union (CAW). Kassia received her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa after completing her Honours Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto, graduating with High Distinction and receiving the Certificate of Academic Excellence. As a law student, Kassia was a Division Leader and Steering Committee Member at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic advocating for women at the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board and also worked at Legal Aid Ontario’s Family Law Office. Kassia was also a course tutor in Constitutional Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution as well as an Executive Board Member of the Ottawa Law Review.
Kassia is a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers (CALL) and the Ontario Bar Association.
