Nicole Paroyan is a bilingual litigator who brings empathy, curiosity and diligence to every interaction in matters of labour law, human rights law, professional discipline and pay equity law.

Having joined UPFH in 2022, Nicole advocates for Ontario workers in both French and English. Her prior experience includes participating in a student clerkship at the Ontario Court of Justice to support judges on criminal matters; articling with the Ministry of the Attorney General of Ontario – Treasury Board Secretariat; and volunteering with the Jail Advocacy and Information Line, where she advocated for those incarcerated at the Ottawa Carleton Detention Centre. 

Nicole has a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa in the Programme de common law en français, where she was also a teaching assistant for the Alternative Dispute Resolution course. She has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree with High Distinction in Canadian Studies from the University of Toronto. 

She is a member of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers and L’Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario.
